YURT
A yurt is a portable, round tent insulated with felt and covered with canvas and traditionally used as a dwelling by several distinct nomadic groups in the steppes and mountains of Central Asia. The structure consists of a flexible angled assembly or latticework of wood for walls, a door frame, ribs, and a wheel as a roof. Yurts take between 30 minutes and 3 hours to set up or take down, and are generally used by between 5 and 15 people. Nomadic farming with yurts as housing has been the primary lifestyle in Central Asia, particularly Mongolia, for thousands of years.
Our Yurt is an original Mongolian tent used for nomadic living and made of canvas, isolated with sheep wool.
The windows in the roof-wheel can be opened for circulation of air
It has a double bed, a bed sofa, a wood stove, a fan and Wifi
On the floor there are original kelim carpets.

Inclusive use of Communal Spaces:
You may use the Guest Kitchen with stove, your own small fridge and cooking utensils
The Guest Bathroom has a dry toilet, hot shower and sink
Eco toilet made from adobe with dry toilet and sink
Rest on the Balibed at the side of the river in the rustling cañas for your siësta
Sunbathe on those sun beds next to the river, you can cool off with a shower with water from the river
No need to buy drinking water: we get our drinking water from the neighbour’s clean water well
For a donation you may take veggies from the organic vegetable garden
Figs from the figtrees, free to pick in the season
For a donation you may take eggs from our free range chickens

The Yurt can be booked from April up to October for max 3 persons.
