OUR TINY HOUSE
CREEK HOUSE
The Creekhouse is a tiny stone wall house, built on a rock, next to the creek. Originally it was built as a shed for storing tools to work the land. Recently it was renovated into a tiny house for guests. The rock has been partly carved out to make the floor more even (under the bed you will still see the original height of the rock)
Ibiza's rough wall stones have been used for generations on medieval homes, farm houses and city walls. The rough texture of the wall stone gives the house a feel of perpetual serenity and countryside frugality
For the roof beams of the house, the beautiful strong and winding sabina wood is used. Today this tree is protected by law in Ibiza, but in the past, it was harvested to use for roof beams
The ceiling is made in the original way with caña and rope, not a single screw was used
The tiny house is just next to the creek. This creek is one of the very rare rivers on the island. It is just a small river, but it runs most of the year and supplies us with the water for the vegetable garden. Frogs also love to hang out here
There is a double bed, a fan, an electric heater and Wifi
In the roofed terrace there is a table with 2 chairs and a wood stove.
There are 2 hammocks next to the Creekhouse in the shade of trees
Inclusive use of Communal Spaces:
You may use the Guest Kitchen with stove, your own small fridge and cooking utensils
The Guest Bathroom has a dry toilet, hot shower and sink
Eco toilet made from adobe with dry toilet and sink
Rest on the Balibed at the side of the river in the rustling cañas for your siësta
Sunbathe on those sun beds next to the river, you can cool off with a shower with water from the river
No need to buy drinking water: we get our drinking water from the neighbour’s clean water well
For a donation you may take veggies from the organic vegetable garden
Figs from the figtrees, free to pick in the season
For a donation you may take eggs from our free range chickens

The Creekhouse can be booked from April up to October for max 2 persons.
